This vintage volume is "Above Our Heads" The Making of a Morehouse Man'' by Spencer C. Gibbs and published by Hamilton House in 2001 as a second printing of the 1999 first edition.
The author graduated from Morehouse College in 1969, then earned a seminary degree and a law degree before serving in a variety of executive positions as a Presbyterian minister. In this volume, he chronicles his four years at Morehouse and describes what the school does to produce some of America's black leaders.
The softcover volume measures 5 1/4 by 8 1/4 inches and contains 247 pages, including an index. It is illustrated with black-and-white photographs. There is some handling wear to the wraps, a bit of foxing to the endpapers and some notations on the last free endpaper, but otherwise the volume is in nice shape.
