    Description

    Elgin A-11 Army Air Force aircraft clock 8 Jewel P/N 1776.  Based on the information I have been able to obtain on the clock, the serial number indicates the clock was constructed in 1941 for use in Fiscal Year 1942 and was likely mounted in a Curtis P40 Warhawk or a MD C-47 Sky Train.  Condition is "Used", however, this is a working clock that may only need thorough cleaning and some restoration done to the face and glass.
