Hair Wars.  Photographs by David Yellen, text by Johanna Lenander.  Pictorial laminated hardcover, pub. 2007, unpaginated but about 100.  Fantasy hairdos by predominantly African-American professional hairstylists.  Hair Wars was a hair entertainment show where a group of hairstylists try to outdo each other with imaginative works.  Some biographical information on the stylists.  According to one source there are 74 full color photos of some of the "dos" that were shown in various shows.  Laminated surfaces make it hard to get good photos, book is in good condition with wear to bottom corners.  Shipping weight just over 2 pounds.
