    This auction is for programme booklet celebrating the 181st Annual Big Quarterly festival at
    Mother African Union Methodist First Colored Protestant Church
    located in Wilmington, Delaware.  This particular booklet also features a letter from then
    Senator Joseph R. Biden
    of the U.S. Senate sending his acknowledgements
    of the celebration.  The African Union First Colored Methodist Protestant Church, usually referred to as "the A.U.M.P.", is a Methodist denomination and was chartered by Peter Spencer (1782-1843) in Delaware in 1813 as the "Union Church of Africans," where it became known as the African Union Church.
