About Us
Our mentally slow, physically handicapped daughter Vicki was 22 when she passed away. We had accumulated 4,000 books with the intent of having her help alphabetize/categorize books and sell them at swap meets and garage sales using a calculator. It was to be a family outing- with some financial independence for her. When she died, we wondered what to do with the books and decided to continue selling them in her memory- with a different format. Thus "Vickisbookshelf" on eBay/Auctiva.   We have about 60,000 different books, many paperbacks, over 200,000 counting duplicates, in 39 genres. The books we are selling also include hardcovers, DVD videos, VHS tapes/CDs.  Please check back often to the site, "Vickisbookshelf." The variety will astound you. Every few weeks, we'll load up a different genre to sell. Check in with us. NOTE: I have written a book on Vicki's life and death titled "I Have to Tell You about Vicki."
